About me
I am a collector and professional antique dealer specialized in European & Oriental Works of Art.
I already got excited about history when I was a child, I spent most my free time searching for treasures from the past. When I was fourteen I bought my first metal detector and started to collect objects that I found.
In 1981 I started as a volunteer at the archaeological department, I helped at professional excavations, it was there where I got more knowledge of antiques. After some years I specialized myself in the conservation and restoring from the metal objects found at the excavations.
Growing up I got another passion, visiting flea & antique markets, where I used my knowledge and started to collect antiques. To keep collecting I had to sell objects from my personal collection so in 1990 I started to trade in antiques. After opening my own antique business in 1999, a long lasting dream was finally fulfilled.
Im still working at the archaeological department as a volunteer, but also at a nursing home for people with dementia.
